Customer Review: I saw the light
I typical do not write review products..but I read others reviews, so I decided to help the dialogue. I love this flash..it makes me actually look like I know what I am doing. The light metering and light delivered are great. I have taken multiple high speed pics of a very act subject in multiple lighting. I do not like to spend money..this is worth the extra expense. Lithium batteries last for several pics..500-700 shots, red eye is greatly reduce, mechanism connects and responds to xsi without issue. Waste no more time in research..it works as stated. Amazon was great.
Customer Review: Great flash if you can justify the cost
Let me just say this is a fantastic flash, no need to repeat the positives everyone has stated about it. However, it is pricey especially now it jumped from $360 to $4xx(that accounts for the -1 star). Even at the lower price, for MY needs it is overkill. Although ETTL is great for walk'n-shoot on camera and I thought I would use the ETTL more often, but find it way easier to use it on full manual with Alien Bee's Cybersync Remotes ala Pocket Wizards for off camera stuff. While having the stroboscopic function, I can't say I have found much use for it, but it is waaaay cool and customizable!
